Address Changes

Untitled Document

Michigan law MCL 500.1238(1) requires any agent, solicitor, counselor, or adjuster to notify the commissioner of any change in his or her mailing address within 30 days of such change.

  • All individual licensees must use the Address Change Request (ACR) gateway on the NIPR website at www.nipr.com.  The NAIC PDB must reflect an active resident license for the individual in order to utilize ACR.
  • All non-resident adjusters must have only one home state license to utilize ACR.
  • Individual licensees must have a residence address that is a physical address. PO boxes are allowed for business and mailing addresses.

A new license is not automatically generated when an address change is processed.
