Quality Assurance Program

The Michigan Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention and Treatment Board is legislatively mandated to review programs and services. In the fall of 2000, the board began implementation of the peer review program. Executive Directors and high level staff from domestic violence/sexual assault programs have been selected to accompany MDSVPTB staff in this unique reviewing program. Peer reviewers are provided training and draw on years of experience in reviewing other domestic/sexual violence programs.

Pre-Review Packet - Domestic/Sexual Violence programs complete the Pre-Review Packet prior to onsite peer reviewing visits. This information is used to assist the peer team in developing an understanding of some of the strengths and challenges of the domestic/sexual violence programs prior to the site visit.
