Eligible Care Requirements

DHS payment can be used to subsidize most child care in Michigan:
  • Child care centers or group child care homes - licensed by DHS, Office of Children and Adult Licensing.
  • Family child care homes - registered by DHS, Office of Children and Adult Licensing.
  • Unlicensed child care providers - enrolled by DHS or CDC Policy.
