Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Grants
The Juvenile Justice Grant Unit, directed by federal mandates and a committee appointed by the governor, funds a wide array of delinquency program initiatives. These include:
- Drug Courts.
- Community reintegration.
- Gender specific (female) programs.
- Community based programs.
- Prevention.
- Minority over-representation (MOR).
- Disproportionate minority confinement (DMC) programs.
In recent years, the dual focus of funding has been to address disproportionate minority confinement and minority over-representation issues through developing primary prevention programs for minority youth.
