Michigan Rehabilitation Services 

Mission:   MRS partners with individuals and employers to achieve quality employment outcomes and independence for persons with disabilities. 

Vision:   MRS will be a premiere organization to promote an inclusive  workforce system that provides each person with a disability the opportunity for employment leading to independence.

Goals: 

  • Ensure people with disabilities served by Michigan Rehabilitation Services will compete successfully for jobs in the 21st Century, exercising informed choice consistent with their individual abilities, capabilities, interests, and rehabilitation needs. 
  • Empower customers to access complete, accurate information to make informed choices and self-assuredly seek employment and employment-related services. 
  • Collaborate and partner with targeted employers, agencies and organizations to maximize quality emplyoment and independence for persons with disabilities. 
  • Promote quality employment outcomes and independence for persons with disabilities by building a stronger relationship with communities. 
  • Improve delivery of professional vocational rehabilitation services to achieve quality employment outcomes and customer satisfaction.
