Not all students receive financial aid. In 2009-10, 100% of our full-time students enrolling for college for the first time received grant/scholarship aid. Students may also be eligible for student loans and work-study. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine their eligibility for Federal financial aid that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance. Prospective students referred through Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) must complete the FAFSA, but are also assisted with tuition, fees and room and board through the MRS referral process.
Students attending Michigan Career and Technical Insititute (MCTI) are referred through Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS). Though required to apply through financial aid by completing the FAFSA, all other charges related to tuition, fees, and on-campus housing are covered by MRS. Students referred through MRS and attending MCTI must have a qualifying disability to receive services.
