There are several resources available to you when attempting to trace Indian heritage. The following list is just a few that should get you started.

The Abrams Historical Collection is ranked as one of the top ten genealogical collections in the United States. In addition to traditional genealogy materials which grow every year, the library has recently compiled a new bibliography of materials held by the Library which pertain to Native Americans specifically.
