Timothy L. Kelly Appointed Lenawee County DHS Director

Michigan Department of Human Services Director Ismael Ahmed announced today the appointment of Timothy L. Kelly as director of the Lenawee County DHS.

"Mr. Kelly has demonstrated significant administrative skills and has extensive experience," Ahmed said. "I am confident that, as director of the Lenawee office, he will continue to provide quality leadership."

Kelly will be responsible for the administration of federal cash assistance programs, child and adult services including protective services, adoption services and foster care services. The appointment was effective in March.

Kelly has been a DHS employee for 22 years and holds a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.
