Back Forty Project
Aquila Resources Inc. in a joint venture with HudBay Minerals Inc. has informed the Department of Environmental Quality, Resource Management Division, Office of Geological Survey of their intent to apply for a Part 632 Mining Permit for their Back Forty Project The new mine will be located in Lake Township in Menominee County. The Back 40 Project ore deposit was initially defined in 2002. It is a very complex group of deposits with economic amounts of copper, gold, silver and zinc.
