In accordance with the provisions of Part 303, Wetlands Protection, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, and the administrative rules promulgated thereunder, an applicant may be required to provide the department with financial assurance to guarantee compliance with permit conditions.

The Department is currently accepting the following two types of financial instruments:

Letter of Credit
