Inflation Adjustment Factor of 1.577 for Existing and New Type II Landfills for July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010. (Updated July 1, 2009).
Landfill owner/operators will utilize Form B for adjusting closure costs. On Form B of the application for an operating license, Line 18 - insert the inflation factor of 328, Line 19 - insert the base year inflation factor index of 208, and on Line 20 - insert the inflation factor of 1.577. Landfill owner/operators will utilize Form C of the Application for an operating license - Postclosure Cost Estimate for adjusting postclosure costs to account for inflation. On Form C, Line 20 - insert the inflation factor of 328, Line 21 - insert the base year inflation factor index of 208, and on Line 22 - insert the inflation factor 1.577. Combined Solid Waste Landfill Waste Receipt Report
PLEASE NOTE: This form shall be used by all landfill types to determine Perpetual Care Fund deposits; solid waste surcharge payments; and waste receipt data as required by Part 115, Solid Waste Management, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended. Please save a copy of this form to an appropriate location on your computer to use for the entire fiscal year (October 1 through September 30). Perpetual Care Fund Maximum Amount for July 1, 2009, - June 30, 2010, for Solid Waste Landfills is $1,805,000 and for certain Type III landfills, the PCF maximum is $902,500. Once a facility has reached the PCF maximum no further deposits are necessary through June 30, 2010. (Updated July 1, 2009).
