LADCO and MDEQ have been working with the other states within the region to determine appropriate control strategies for ozone.   As each measure is identified, a "white paper" is being created by MACTEC, the consultant firm under contract with LADCO.   To view the most recent white paper for each control strategy evaluated, use the following link provided by LADCO:

In February 2005, MDEQ requested a modification to Michigan's southeast area PM 2.5 non-attainment designation based on monitoring data for calendar years 2002 through 2004.  In addition, Oakland County submitted requests for re-designations in April, August and September of 2005.  On January 24, 2006, EPA responded to the requests.  These documents are listed below.
