- Policy defines the expectations for use of SOM owned resources utilized by computer end-users.
- Defines acceptable behavior when utilizing SOM owned resources.
- Outlines awareness and education objectives for end-user responsibilities.
- Sets a “minimum level” of conformance that will be implemented across the SOM enterprise
- Agency may establish more restrictive policies.
- Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in Agency administered discipline up to and including discharge.
