Workstation Security

Workstation Security

Lock your workstation!

  • Use screen savers that activate within a maximum of 15 minutes of no keyboard or mouse activity.
  • Use the (CTRL+ALT+DELETE [Enter]) or (Windows key + L for windows XP) locking function to lock your workstation immediately. It's very easy to get pulled into impromptu meetings and auto-locking helps mitigate the risk of an unattended workstation.
  • There's no simpler way of accessing someone's account than by just using their unsecured workstation. Lock it when you leave it.
How long would you want a burglar in your home? Your workstation is like your house, LOCK IT WHEN YOU LEAVE
