Project: The Parents' Night Out program will offer psychoeducational and therapeutic support to parents and their children in a 6-week, 90-minute format to families who are at risk of child abuse and neglect. Thirty families per year will be served. The progam will provide parent education; support; mentorship and enrichment to parents undergoing stress; knowledge of child development; leisure planning; non-abusive discipline; stress management; self-esteem; empowerment; and nuturing parent-child relationships.
