Shaken Baby Syndrome can cause lasting damage to children.
The Michigan Children's Trust Fund has sponsored the design, printing, and distribution of Posters, Bookmarks, and Tri-Fold Brochures to help prevent shaken baby syndrome. The brochures are available in both Spanish and English. In 2008, almost 120,000 pieces were distributed in this program.

CTF has a limited number of videos on "The Period of Purple Crying" available for use in Michigan prevention programs that may be requested (limit 1 per agency). Multiple copies of videos and other products on Shaken Baby Syndrome may be ordered from the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome. Their toll free number is 1-888-273-0071.
