As part of an initiative to ensure fairness and equality in a diverse Department, the EEO Office will be conducting impact analyses of several different policies and processes throughout the Department, including the disciplinary process, grievance process, training, etc.
The goal is to focus on the impact the current processes have on all staff. As we move into a challenging and more competitive environment for resources, our core values of integrity, excellence, inclusion, and teamwork can only be achieved if all employees are treated fairly and equitably, regardless of their race, color, national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
The EEO Office will be consulting with the Department of Civil Rights when necessary in evaluating and monitoring results and activities.
