Lansing, MI July 26, 2007 - On July
23rd, Nina Krygier of Irons, Michigan became the eighth Big Money Bingo jackpot
winner overall and the 2nd jackpot winner to come from northern lower Michigan
when she won the Big Money Bingo jackpot of $132,581. On June 1st, Phyllis
Gamblel of Lewiston in Montmorency County won a Big Money Bingo jackpot of
$59,466. Krygier, 63, bingoed on 49 balls Monday night while playing 3 Big
Money Bingo cards at the Skinner Park Pavilion in Irons, Michigan. Krygier plans
to use some of her winnings to visit family in Korea that she has not seen for
over 40 years.
Krygier joins the elite group of Big
Money Bingo winners: Bobbi DeLaCruz of Adrian won $84,105, Jacqueline Alcorta
also of Adrian won $120,820, Phyllis Gamble of Lewiston who won $59,466;
Virginia Jones of Detroit who won a record jackpot of $215,696; Sharon Tedford
of Flint who won $50,826; Barbara Boutell of Clinton Township who won $63,540;
and Renee Kingsbury of Shiawassee County who won $67,804. Nearly $800,000 in
total prizes has been awarded to date.
