Login ID

will be the ID you will use to access the One Stop system. This is a required entry. The format is your last name, first initial and any 4 numbers-no spaces. An example would be smithg4321

NOTE: There is an edit/validation that Login ID matches the last name, and first name, first initial. Changing your name at a later time will have no effect on your Login ID.

First Name

enter your first name in this box. This is a required entry.

Middle Initial

if you wish to use your middle initial, you may enter it in this box. This entry is optional.

Last Name

enter your last name in this box. This is a required entry.

Email Address

enter your e-mail address in this box. This is a required entry.

Confirm Email Address

re-enter your e-mail address in this box. This is a required entry. The Confirm Email Address is compared to your Email Address to help catch mis-typed addresses.

is a security function. This is a required entry. The number shown is randomly generated and is to help prevent account hacking. This is not part of your account record.

Work phone Number

enter your work phone # in this field. This is a required entry.

will return you to the Welcome to Michigan Business One Stop page.

Quit

Clear

will clear all information from the boxes on the screen.

Submit

will submit e-mail you a temporary password to use in the next step of the registration process. The temporary password is e-mailed immediately, but may take a few minutes to arrive in your mailbox. When the e-mail is sent to you, a Thank You for Registering screen will appear.

Summary

The registration with One Stop is a one time process which has multiple steps. The primary purpose of the registration is to establish a secure account that you can use when interacting with the State of Michigan. The OneStop Registration screen is used to set up your One Stop account #, your name, e-mail address and work phone #. When you have enter the necessary information and clicked on Submit, you will be e-mailed a temporary password that will be used to complete your registration.
