2009 State Block Grant MAP Meeting Information

Attention State Block Grant airport sites:

The Bureau of Aeronautics and Freight Services, Airports Division, Programming Unit will start scheduling 2009 Michigan Airport Programming (MAP) meetings for State Block Grant sites in mid- to late June.  A letter will be sent to the sponsors in late May providing additional information and deadlines.  MAP meetings will be held the end of August through early December 2009.

New for 2009 programming, State Block Grant airport sponsors will be required to submit a ten-year Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP).  We will be requiring airport sponsors to use a standard ACIP form that will be provided to the sponsors and consultants.  The standard ACIP form will allow us to standardize the submittal process for ACIPs.

If you have any questions or need any additional information, please contact Programming Unit Engineer-Manager Betsy Steudle.  She can be reached at 517-335-8359 or via e-mail at steudleb@michigan.gov.
