Our mobile office will be set up in the Michigan Department of State booth at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 – Sunday, Jan. 25.
Road to Restoration is a free clinic to assist Michigan residents in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Residents who attend will meet one-on-one with Michigan Department of State staff and talk with volunteer attorneys to determine the steps necessary to reinstate their driver’s license.

Road to Restoration is not a DUI/DWI/OWI expungement clinic and license reinstatement is not guaranteed. Reinstatement is assessed on an individual basis in accordance with state law.
At Road to Restoration clinics, residents are still responsible for all fines and fees: the Michigan Department of State does not provide financial support toward financial responsibilities.

Fixed Route: Residents can ride in on any route and take Route 7 to reach SVRC. The SVRC stop is within the first five minutes of the 7 route. For return, residents will need to cross Washington and catch the inbound to the main station. Residents can view all routes on the Saginaw STARS website. LIFT: This is a curb-to-curb service for seniors 60 or over or gold card riders (disabled, as designated by their doctor). Rides should be scheduled at least a day in advance.
Rides to Wellness: RTW covers all of Saginaw County, uses smaller vehicles and offers our highest level of service. This service is $15 each way, no matter the distance within Saginaw County.

Please note, once ordered, the link for your electronic driving record is only accessible for 7 days. During the seven-day period, you may view your driving record as many times as you need to. Log into your account and choose the option to "View Transaction History" to access it. We recommend you save your driving record to your device so that you may conveniently view it for more than seven days.
Pro bono attorneys are needed to provide limited-scope consultations at the clinic, which include the review of driving records, contacting the courts, and helping guide individuals through the steps they need to take to restore their licenses. Recorded training modules and in-person training the day of the clinic will be provided. Experts from the Detroit Justice Center, Michigan Department of State and Attorney General’s Office will be on site to answer questions as well.
