The Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) is transitioning from its current Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM) system to a new, modern platform called MiUI. Employers and third-party administrators (TPAs) are scheduled to begin using MiUI for tax functions in early 2026. Employers, TPAs, and claimants are expected to begin using MiUI for benefits functions in summer of 2026.
To help users prepare for the modern, user-friendly system, UIA has created this MiUI University website. Here, users will find a regularly updated library of resource guides, FAQs, videos, infographics, trainings, blogs, and much more.
