W.F. Memorial Hart-Montague Trail State Park
Explore the scenic beauty of the William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail State Park. This 22-mile trail, converted from an old railroad line by William Field in the 1980s, winds through the forests and rolling hills between Hart and Montague. Enjoy a journey through the region's diverse landscape, including farms, orchards, and dense woodlands.
Starting at the Montague trailhead, west of the US-31 Montague exit near a White Lake campground, you'll encounter attractions like the world's largest working weathervane, Christmas tree farms, the Clear Springs Nature Preserve, and the charming village of New Era. The Hart trailhead is located at a parking lot east of the US-31 Hart exit (149).
