MDOT names new project manager for Blue Water Bridge plaza project

May 15, 2012 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is pleased to announce Kelby Wallace is the new senior project manager for the Blue Water Bridge plaza project. Wallace has a broad background in project development and delivery at several MDOT transportation service centers, with more than 12 years experience in project development/design and two years in construction oversight. He has managed major projects for MDOT, including the recent $55 million rebuilding of I-94 in Jackson County. Wallace also is experienced in building partnerships, including with the Michigan State Police to rebuild motor carrier weigh stations in the state, and with private organizations, such as Michigan International Speedway, in the coordination of highway projects.
