Office of Agriculture Development

The Office of Agriculture Development (OAD) is housed in the Executive Office of the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Through innovative partnerships, OAD delivers expertise and leadership to ensure the success of Michigan's food and agriculture economy.

Objectives:

  • Promote international marketing programs and activities to Michigan companies
  • Serve as a catalyst in expanding value-added businesses; attract, expand or retain jobs and capital investment with Michigan's food and agriculture industry
  • Support the Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council in statewide activities in research, promotion and professional development to meet the changing needs of the Michigan wine industry.
