11Summer hours announced for Concord's Mann House Historic Site The Michigan Historical Center today announced summer hours for the Mann House in Concord. Newly repainted in historic, period colors, the house is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays now through Sept. 1.
10Acoustic Strings to perform at Walker Tavern Historic Site June 25 A local bluegrass band, Acoustic Strings, will perform at Walker Tavern Historic Site in Brooklyn from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25. The grounds will open for the free concert at 5:30. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blanket and picnic or enjoy Dave's Dawgs on the grounds that evening. The concert will be outdoors or in one of the historic buildings in case of rain.
10Iron Industry Museum gearing up for June 16 antique auto show The Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township is revving up for its 24th Annual Antique Automobile Exhibit from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 16, on the museum grounds.
03Free Saturday admission, movie tickets June 8 at Michigan Historical Center
