SURFACE USE LEASE FOR A TRAILWAY ON STATE LAND: Surface use lease L-10220 to provide for construction, maintenance and management of a public trailway on state-owned land has been requested by the Iron Ore Heritage Recreation Authority of Marquette, Michigan, and said state-owned land is located as follows: a strip of land 100 feet (more or less) in width being the former right of way of the Soo Line Railroad Company (successor in interest to the Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic Railway Company and its subsidiaries) said strip being 50 feet (more or less) on each side of the centerline of the main track of said Soo Line Railroad Company, commencing at a point known as Mile Post 156.6 within the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 22, T48N, R25W, Marquette County, Michigan, thence traversing in a Westerly direction 100 feet in width across the Westerly 200 feet of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 22, including the bridge over US-41/M-28; thence continuing Westerly across Sections 21, 20, 19 and 24.
