About the Programming Section

Duties and responsibilities of the Programming SectionThe Programming Section administers the federal and state airport capital improvement programs (ACIP), which provide programming and project accounting for capital improvements at licensed Michigan airports. The section also provides budget and accountability for funds used for the operation of the Office of Aeronautics as well as other administrative responsibilities. The federal and state ACIP programs are closely tied to programs of the individual airport sponsors. The activities and services are prioritized to return to Michigan the maximum federal dollars to meet airport needs.
